Can a tablet run Dark Souls 3?

Today Stephen installs and runs Dark Souls 3 on the original Surface Pro Tablet. It ran Tomb Raider, Dark Souls 2 and Crysis like a champ but will a brand new release cripple it? Let’s see if the Surface has finally met it’s match!

Recorded via HDMI out and an Elgato capture device.

Dark Souls 3 – First Impressions

Let’s take a quick look at Dark Souls 3. Not a full review, I still have many, many hours left to put into this game before I can offer an intelligent review of it.

Are bigger Wifi Antennas better? We find out!

I upgraded my PC! New Case and New Guts!

I finally upgraded my PC! Nothing Fancy but I love it.

The OLD PC had the following:
Antec 300 Case
MSI AM3+ Motherboard
AMD Phenom II X4 945 CPU @ 3,3Ghz
8GB Generic DDR3 Ram
EVGA GTX 750ti GPU 2GB
Crucial 240GB SSD
WD Blue 1TB Gaming Drive
Generic 450w Power Supply

The NEW PC Has the following:

Antec Three Hundred Two Case
MSI 970 Gaming Motherboard
AMD FX-8350 Black Eight Core CPU @ 4Ghz
16GB PNY XLR8 Ram
EVGA GTX 960 FTW GPU 2GB
Same Hard Drive Setup
Corsair CX750 Modular Power Supply.

It runs very well, the performance difference in Windows is little to none given that the old setup worked great already but gaming is smoother and I can add a little more detail. Video editing is much improved and rendering is much faster which is what I was going for.

Let’s Look At: Saints Row: The Third

Saints Row: The Third or, as I will refer to it from here on out, SR3 is the third game in the Saints Row series so it’s appropriately named.  It is also the first game in the series that I played. I do own the first two games and have put time into them but they didn’t capture me like SR3 did, but that’s probably because SR3 feels like a complete departure. While the first two games felt, to me at least, like self-aware GTA clones with a sense of humor about themselves, SR3 is just a wacky open world game that is best experienced than explained.

2015 gave us a lot of great games and here are the five that summed up my personal year for various reasons. This is not really a top five countdown, just five games that captured me the most in the past year. #2015in5

Unboxing: Trails of Cold Steel – Lionheart Edition!

Stephen unboxes the Lionheart Edition of Legends of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel for the PlayStation Vita.

Having never played this series before he dives into the box with open arms, high hopes and dreams of what’s to come. Ok, so actually he just opens the box and shows us what’s inside. Either way, we hope you like it!

Let’s Talk About: Star Wars The Force Awakens

It was 4pm on December 17th when I pulled up to the theater and started my wait. Just me and my Stormtrooper listening to songs as I waited in my car for what seemed too long. I walked into the mall that the theater attached to and was sad when I realized Chic-Fil-A was closed. The mall was desolate, barely a store was open, but for the first time in probably years the halls were packed.
