My predictions are going to be guessing games. Following the predictions and playing the games, I will post a review of the games and go over my predictions of whether or not they would be good purchases. I will ask myself one question, should I rate this game as Buy or Die?
GAME PREDICTION: BUY
I am looking forward to the release of the game and my prediction is that it will be fun and exciting. I think it will be nice to unwind with a little Hyrule Warriors and unleash the power within me on some baddies.

I loved the first Dead Space. It was, and still is, my favorite survival horror game of the “previous gen”. The first time I played it, I tried to see how far I could make it with all the lights turned off. I’m not too proud to say that didn’t last long. I got tired of having to get back up to cut the lights on after the first five minutes.
As soon as I played it, I restarted it. It was that good to me. I didn’t get into Dead Space 2 until after the third game was released. The reason was I was afraid that it would be terrible. I thought they would ruin it. I, of course, was wrong. Dead wrong. It was fantastic!
Shortly after I finished Dead Space 2 PSN announced that Dead Space 3 would be an upcoming free game for PS+ members. Excited, I eagerly awaited the 1st of the month to get my hands on a digital copy. Continue reading →
How excited was I to pick up this game? Very! I love Gears of War. I do, but I love it for the single player campaign. I have played very little multiplayer. I have nothing against it, but it’s just not why I play games.
I had been looking forward to a new Gears game for a while and when I brought it home I set it on the shelf and looked at it like a kid waiting on Christmas. I had to finish the current game I was playing first as I hate having two unfinished games going on at the same time. So I finished up Wolfenstein on my PS4 and happily threw the new Gears into the 360.
After an update, as is the norm, I was in. I played through the first few areas and immediately felt the difference between this one and the others. I get it, it’s a spin-off done by a different developer. It is going to be different, but sometimes that can still be just as good. Call of Duty World at War comes to mind. Other than raining grenades it’s just as good as any Infinity Ward Call of Duty. Black OPs is also as good or better in my opinion. Continue reading →
I was a fan of this game the first time I played it on the PC. I ended up buying it on the Xbox360 as well. It’s easily one of my favorite games in recent history. I was a fan of the original Tomb Raiders as well back in the PS1 days which may be a reason I enjoy the reboot so much.
With the lack of games out for the PS4 I decided to pick up a copy of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. I figured I already know I like the game and have played through it multiple times now, enjoying it every time. So if the PS4 can offer up an even better experience then I’m game, and as soon as I fired it up I could tell it was going to be a great experience again. Continue reading →
I am not a professional reviewer, but I am an avid gamer. I play games for fun, not for competition or online bragging rights. I grew up playing games for fun and got hooked. I say that to give a glimpse into how I am going to review this game. It will be much like my Windows Phone 8 review where it’s from my point of view and how I receive the content. I will keep it a bit vague as to not accidentally spoil anything but some things are inevitable so read with that in mind.
So to start, it’s a fantastic game. It’s exactly what I would think a current generation Wolfenstein would be. But there are some flaws that take away from the experience, but only slightly. Let’s begin at the top, the introduction to the events that are about to unfold set the stage for a game with a serious tone. That is until you eat dog food to regain health. The story, I feel, is pretty good and I enjoy the premise. If I were looking for a believable story, this ain’t it, but I buy it as it is presented with enough depth that it works for the game. It won’t change how you view shooters from now on but it moves the action along and keeps you entertained. You will shortly find that the story is also a bit dumb, but that’s by design it would seem. It has enough funny or stupid moments and comments to interrupt the serious tone that it all feels like it works.
Be sure to check out our playthrough of Army of Two: The 40th Day! It is recorded in SD as we only have an SD capture device but it’s just old school enough to be awesome! Actually it looks… ok, but hell we are just getting started. 🙂
Army of Two is a great mindless 3rd person shooter that will keep you entertained and wanting to come back for more. Stupid dialogue, fast paced action and just a back-to-basics feel keep this franchise moving along. I was skeptical at first but after I played the first one I was hooked, the second was even better. The third game made me pause because it wasn’t Salem and Rios as the main guys anymore but it was still a blast. They did the series justice, gameplay wise. I’m still on the fence about the story of the 3rd, but at any rate it still serves as a great game.
